The Design Tech High School Math Club is a student-run Mu Alpha Theta Chapter on the Oracle campus in Redwood City, California. We organize math programs for middle school students in the Bay Area and beyond, with a focus on problem solving, reasoning, and analytical thinking.

Our main initiatives include:​

• Puzzle Night: a hands-on, exploration oriented event with logic, modeling, geometry, and problem-solving stations.

• D.Tech Problem of the Day Challenge (d.PotD): a five-day online challenge leading up to DTMT, running from February 23rd to 27th. Students receive daily problem sets with a specific top ic per day, covering algebra, geometry, number theory, and combinatorics, including a short proof. Solutions are submitted under time limits, and top performers receive recognition and prizes.

• Design Tech Math Tournament (DTMT): a full-day competition with individual tests in Algebra, Geometry, Discrete Mathematics, and a 6th Grade division, followed by team rounds Sequence round and Team round. This is our main event, scheduled for March 8th.

Across these programs, we aim to help students improve their math skills, approach problems systematically, and gain experience with competition-style mathematics.
