This year's DTMT features an exciting and varied lineup of math challenges. Students will begin by selecting two individual tests from a set of topics: Algebra, Geometry, Combinatorics, Discrete Math, and a specially designed 6th Grade Test. Next, participants will team up for two collaborative rounds: the Sequence Round and the Team Round, where strategic thinking and teamwork take center stage. After the competition, students can take part in an activities session featuring Estimation, Puzzles, and Math Modeling—or enjoy a well-earned break with games and origami. At the same time, any tiebreakers will be resolved in a fast-paced, Mathcounts-style Countdown Round. The tournament will conclude with a Closing Ceremony where winners and prizes will be announced. DTMT will run from 4:30 to 9:30. Dinner is provided, and a $10 fee will be charged to help support our event. A detailed schedule will be published closer to the competition date.
